Electromagnetic Shielding Materials Overview

With the rapid development of science and technology and the electronics industry, a variety of digitalized, high-frequency electronic and electrical equipment radiates a large number of electromagnetic waves of different wavelengths and frequencies into the space when it is in operation, which leads to a new type of environmental pollution - Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and Radio Frequency or Radio Interference (RFI).

What is EMI?

Electromagnetic waves can interact with electronic components to produce an interference phenomenon called EMI (Electromagnetic Interference). It can be used for professional shielding work clothes engaged in electronic, electromagnetic and other high-radiation work, special shielding cloth for shielding room; special cloth for shielding parts in IT industry, touch screen gloves, anti-radiation curtains, and so on. Widely used in PDA handheld computers, PDP plasma displays, LCD monitors, laptops, copiers and other electronic products in need of electromagnetic shielding position.

Conductive cloth liner

  • Conductive cloth liner using highly conductive and anti-corrosive conductive cloth, highly compressed and highly elastic foam core, after precision processing and composition. Conductive rubber (rubber strip)

  • Conductive rubber is a rubber material filled with metal fillers that provide high conductivity, electromagnetic shielding, and moisture sealing. Each type of conductive rubber is composed of an adhesive such as silicone, silicone fluoride, EPDM, or carbon-silicon-fluoride and a conductive filler such as pure silver, silver-plated copper, silver-plated aluminum, silver-plated nickel, silver-plated glass, silver-plated lead, or charcoal particles. The material can be molded in sheet, molded, extruded and film form on request. Characteristics: 90 dB-120 dB in the range of 20M-20GHz, even more than 120 dB for pure silver particles. It can play the role of shielding and environmental sealing, easy to install. Application areas: conductive rubber used in the need for long-term stability of the excellent electromagnetic shielding and highly conductive parts. Widely used in communications equipment, information technology equipment, medical equipment, industrial electronic equipment market.

STM Patch Foam

  • SMT SMD foam is a grounding terminal that can be used in surface assembly technology and is one of the surface assembly components. Conductive Paint
